Our Historia

We are located in the Schilling Building in historic downtown McMinnville. Erected in 1884 to house the Boss Saloon, it is the oldest brick building in McMinnville. Originally a two-story brick structure, the Schilling Building was stuccoed in 1905 at which time the ornate metal cornice was added. By the early 1900’s it was a grocery; later a variety store.

After extensive renovation after it was purchased in 2002, the restaurant’s space now features a beautiful wood entrance, dark mahogany, a copper-topped bar, hand-blown light fixtures, and original artwork. While the main attraction is the food, the artful design and richly detailed interior combine for an ideal setting to create a memorable pairing of food and setting. La Rambla invites you to stop in any time to enjoy our unique and lovely restaurant.
